Never Settle - What Does That Mean To You?
Apr 17, 2024The Spring Energy is all about your journey and direction becoming clearer. Your own body will be attempting to deliver the next layer of blossom and bloom from within yourself!.
Mel Clarke and I chatted on this last week's podcast about the sledgehammer times in our lives when our belief systems are deeply challenged. The Mystics talk about the "Fogs of illusions", which I always think of in this Spring Season. Often we can feel ourselves awakening from a type of slumber. The Fog of the grey days and long nights is over as more light descends in our days.
The adventure of expanding our understanding of ourselves is really getting the mind,body and spirit connections. The more we learn how interconnected we are with the Seasons the quicker we can go with and not against the flow.
Mels work is about Never settling with unhappy and unfulfilled lives or relationships.
Becoming more honest with ourselves, and uncovering the lies we are brought up on, unintentionally, and that habitually are part of our own internal operating systems is vital to not settling for the miseries we can be living in. The Spring in the Earth and all around us unsettles those internal muddles within us so that our paths can become clearer.
These are my suggestions for you to take advantage of this Seasons energy if you want :-
a) to cherish the organs associated with your Spring Season inside yourself and or
b) find yourself unsettled and unnerved by the 'winds of change' stirring in you.
1) take some sacred time to allow in the comfort of what Nature is showing you. We are propelled into feeling constantly inadequate, if we are not careful, in today's world, so allow that to drop and see how connected we are to mother earth.
2) listen to your favourite and uplifting music - forgetting all that bothers you right now, and every single time you find yourself worrying…… deliberately change the subject on to something uplifting. You will be amazed how changing the subject then gives your issues and problems time to sort themselves out, or you just suddenly have the information you need to change them.
3) book something for yourself that you would not normally do - deliberately allow yourself a treat to look forward to.
4) Challenge yourself to believe and practise the art of hope which is associated deeply with this Season in Chinese Medicine
5) If you are up for it look up a cleansing drink or smoothie for your liver and Gall bladder - again the two main organs associated with this Season. I call them the hoover bags of our bodies so treasure them by having a hot water and half lemon squeezed first thing in the morning and then a carrot, celery and parsley fresh juice after twenty mins. Do this for ten days if at all possible. Build it in when you are ready to your 'TO DO" list.
