Inner Practices for Anxiety and Powerful Living

May 05, 2024

Walt Hampton( See below) and I shared some time together on a podcast. He shared with me his way of getting the most out of his life - and powerfully so. He is a man full of compassion and lives with an open heart. He coached me for some time and his enthusiasm was infectious and a pleasure to be around - and he took no prisoners either!

Here is link in to the podcast. https://youtu.be/Ud-aQf3Fdlk - it comes out on Thursday.

Our Springtime, internally, is all about finding another layer of our own dynamic power - Walts life is, and has been extraordinarily powerful - dynamically so.

In clinical practise sometimes the anxiety that people habitually live with is hiding some very dynamic energy that wants to be expressed.

Instead of sharing tips I am going to ask you some questions that you can just ask yourself when you have some quiet moments.

  1. Are you even aware of how much anxiety you are living with, and if so what are you consciously doing about it?
  2. What are the triggers in your life that have you rattled and anxious, and have you found ways yet of breathing through it and transforming them?
  3. Do you think of yourself as being dynamic or as having access inside yourself to the equivalent of a fifth gear in a car?
  4. Are you even aware of how you can harness Nature to recharge yourself, when you are definitely not feeling dynamic?
  5. What do you do to calmly change gears in your own system and body?

Allow yourself to think through the answers to these. Follow the podcast and see how Walt is accessing his own energy and for sure dynamically making the most of his life. However if you are living with a Chronic condition please do NOT compare yourself and just take what you are comfortable with from this or the podcast. Being 'severely' able bodied is so completely the opposite of being severely and relentlessly dis-abled so it is easy to feel inadequate with listening to a man or woman that is so astonishingly vibrant!

Thank you for participating in the launch of my new book The Slipstream to the Miraculous. It was humbling to have so many comments so quickly about it as it was bought. We went to number one in the Uk, Canada and the US in Spiritual Prayer Books.

I have always wanted to share and bring alive the impact prayer has on my days with Spiritual verses supporting me personally to live powerfully. This is the amazon link if you want to look https://youtu.be/Ud-aQf3Fdlk

A huge thanks go particularly to the incredible David Templer who was the person years ago to suggest that I put the prayers that I shared on a private facebook group in a collection and create a book. Thank you David. This book would not be in existence without you.
